You could say this is the blog for NewTunes.com. However, I happen to know they have their own blog… on their site (or they will soon, anyway). I know this because I am the VP of Marketing for NewTunes.com. My name is Jon Friesch, and I approved this message.

I started this blog, though, for some obvious and some not-so-obvious reasons. Obviously, this is another place to find out about our site, and that’s good marketing… right? Well, that remains to be seen. It’ll be even better marketing if we put together an excellent user experience over at the site (but you will be the judge of that).

Aside from that, I also started this because I would like the ability to make observations that might be more personal in nature – or just inappropriate for the main site’s communications. Naturally, that will evolve as we go.

Apparently, the first post is the hardest. Now it’s done. Back later with more.
