I, too, had heard of her. But it was only after my friend Steve recommended it to our logo designer (that post is still forthcoming) Matt, who recommended it to me, did I hear her music. To my knowledge, there are two albums – one in French and the next in English. Here’s a sample…

If you’re into acoustic slow jazz with intriguing lyrics and sultry female vocals, this should get you where you need to go. I sampled much of the two albums before deciding to buy them outright, and I can’t wait to really dive into them. The samples were all really entrancing.

My impression is that she’s a bit more traditional, and possibly a tad more mainstream – stopping short of Harry Connick, Jr. (I hope). But both captured my attention, and I can’t wait to delve into their catalogs a bit more. Hope this gives you a new musical direction to follow.
