One of the most destructive song bombs ever planted in my brain is the song “Hi-Fidelity” from the 1982 season of the television show Fame (based on the film of the same name).

This song has been rolling around in my head for 26 years and creeps back to the forefront way too often and at very strange times. If it weren’t such a painfully awful song, it wouldn’t be so bad. And watching the video of it just makes it all the more embarrassing that it has stuck for so long.

It just happened again, but this time I’m trying a new therapy. By watching it again and sharing it with others, maybe it just might… go… away (or, it’ll stick in your head, and I’ll be spreading the infection).
