I can already tell you what would win someone the White House in 2012.
If someone – anyone – would have the political courage to come out and make the nowhere-near-as-bold-as-it-sounds statement that “there is no global warming,” they would automatically win.
Here’s why: there are nothing but facts to suggest that all of the hype and hysteria about global warming – which is now referred to as “climate change” because of the last 10 years of global cooling – are bunk.
Remember, there’s no such thing as a fact from the future. Whatever Gore promises will happen to us in 30 years, it’s not a fact until it happens.
But, back to the marketing aspects of this not-so-bold pronouncement. If someone did this, they’d be the only public politician to do so, which would differentiate them from the field. Plus, the media would treat the proclamation as so outrageous that they’d debate it on every news show.
This would backfire because intelligent people with facts would finally get some air time. Not to mention that polls show at least half, if not more, of the U.S. population is already skeptical – if simply not convinced.
Plus, in doing so, said politician could finally illustrate exactly what the global warming scare is – an attempt by liberals to justify expanding government. If it were anything more, then belief about this “scientific fact” wouldn’t divide along party lines.
Unfortunately, I don’t see it happening. Instead, they’ll never address global warming, and instead they’ll float energy proposals that are alternatives to alternative energy. They’ll stick to the cliches and play it safe. And they’ll end up as useless as our last two Presidents.
It is with that in mind that I present this link to you. It’s from a freelance writer named William Ecenbarger, and it appeared in the Smithsonian. It’s about the best aggregation of politician-spewed sound-bites I’ve ever seen. Enjoy…

Definitely recommend checking out William Happer’s testimony before congress (he’s one of dem smart guys with facts):

Oh wait, I see now. You’re a genuine idiot. My bad.
Tyrone,
Who is an idiot, and what leads you to say that?
It seems calling someone you don’t know an “idiot,” is, in itself, idiotic.
