The third album – Shall Noise Upon – from Mass band Apollo Sunshine comes out tomorrow.
The normally trio, but sometimes quartet, has been around for about 6 years and has a career that seems, to me, to be following a similar path to Phish. They’re not quite the jam-intensive band that Phish was/is (who can keep track anymore), but they’ve generated a significant following through all of their live touring.
There’s a lot of really solid material on the new album, and true to their penchant for live shows, there aren’t any professional videos for their songs (that I could find). But here’s a live clip of them playing “666: The Coming of the New World.” Look for the rest of it tomorrow.
